Trekking L.A., a project of L.A. Commons and UCLA's department of Urban Planning, is a continuing experiment in exploring local Los Angeles through food, art and music.

The Mercado La Paloma, where this event will be held, is former sweatshop and now a community project that serves as an incubator for small businesses and features some of the best street food in the city.
